For persons preferring more individualized instructions SMMT offers individual lessons to students that prefer more individualized instructions and additional help as we maneuver the motorcycle on the range. The lessons is more driven to a one on one interact and the ratio for this class is 3:1.

Basic Rider Course

We offer rider courses for beginner rider(s) and experienced rider(s) Our certified rider coaches are committed to providing quality training. Students must be of driving age and if under the age of 18 must have parent or guardians permission to participate in the motorcycle training courses.
BRC (Basic Rider Course): BRC is the best place for a new rider to start once they've made the decision to ride. Successful completion of this course and its knowledge and skill tests, will serve as a license test waiver in Mississippi. Also, a course completion card may provide a rider an insurance discount. Due to the pandemic and our continous efforts to keep our students safe, the classroom portion of the BRC course will now be offered by virtual learning or you may take the E-course.
E-course is a one day on-cycle course which requires BRC ePackage1 certificate. Certificate can be obtained by visiting www.msf-usa.org for $39.99 and must be presented 7 days prior to scheduled on-cycle course.
BRC2 (Basic Rider Course 2):
BRC2 is for riders who already have basic skills. It is similar to the BRC except the speeds are higher and riders should be riding their own motorcycle. It is a one day course that complements a rider's basic skills and helps to improve perception and hazard awareness. Range exercises enhance both basic skills and crash avoidance skills. Improving braking and cornering finesse is emphasized.
